Members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and all are invited to attend the potluck and white elephant gift exchange. Each couple should bring one white elephant gift. When you RSVP please let the hosts know whether you are bringing a main dish or a side dish. Beverages and dessert are being provided. We look forward to a night full of fun, good times, and laughter!

April 24, 2010 Available Click to RSVP: APR-event@partnersdc.com RSVP by April 9th	April Shear Madness Time: 6:0pm Join us on Saturday, April 24, for Shear Madness, the comedy whodunit that lets the audience solve the crime! The event takes place at the Kennedy Center Theatre Lab at 6 PM. Tickets are $42 and can be purchased directly from the Kennedy Center. The show lasts for two hours. Set in present-day Georgetown, Shear Madness engages locals and visitors alike as armchair detectives to help solve the scissor-stabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness unisex hairstyling salon. The show combines up-to-the-minute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a unique performance each night. Shear Madness has been running in the Kennedy Center's Theater Lab for over 20 years, giving more than 9,000 performances and is the second longest play in the history of American Theater (its sister production of Shear Madness in Boston is #1.) Everyone will need to purchase there own tickets from the Kennedy Center, cost is $42.00 per person . Sean and David will have name tags and will be positioned in front of the Theatre to welcome members. The game starts at 1:35 PM. Please RSVP by April 10th, so we can order the tickets together. Tickets will be for seats in the $36 range. Please be prepared to pay Jan for the tickets at the stadium. Look for the McLaren-Sargent Shelter. The park is located in Fairfax County and the pavillion is closest to the parking lot you enter from the Heming Ave. entrance, 5660 Heming Ave, Springfield, VA 22151.Park and then walk around the corner and up a little hill from the parking lot. This is a kid friendly event and the shelter is handicapped accesible. If you prefer a veggie burger, please note that when you RSVP. Ye land-lubbers! We are off to Annapolis for a revival of the summer Schooner Woodwind Cruise in Annapolis, MD on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay on Saturday August 21, 2010. We are planning on having lunch at 3:00 PM/ET at the Rams Head Tavern, and then a leisurely walk down to the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront hotel where we will meet at the pier to board the boat for a 2 hour sunset cruise, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM/EST. Additional beer or wine can be purchased onboard the Schooner after we leave the harbor. Please see the attached flyer for additional details. The cruise and lunch are two separate events. Couples can participate in one or both. The cost for lunch is not included in the schooner ticket. Space for the Sunset Cruise is limited. The Partners Metro DC Board of Directors requests that couples confirm and pay for your tickets in advance (as soon as possible). This will ensure that our group can reserve the schooner which holds 24 couples, if we want the entire boat to ourselves. Our final payment date is July 30, 2010. To reserve your tickets for the Sunset Cruise, mail a check payable to “Partners Metro DC.” The cost is $40.75 per adult and children are more than welcome. September Dinner & Putt-Putt Golf Time: Dinner at 5:30 PM, Golf around 7:00 PM Get your Putter warmed up and join us for the mini-golf event in September! We'll begin with a casual dinner at 5:30 PM at King Street Blues in Kingstowne, Alexandria, followed by a round of mini-golf at Top Golf, also in the Kingstowne area at about 7:00PM. Top Golf has two courses and you can pick the one that most challenges you.
